I make saddle blankets for Breyer and Peter Stone model horses in my "Spare" time.  A lot of people have asked to see pictures of them and I've been unable to show them any until now.  I can make them in any color combination and most of them are modeled after real horse blankets.  I can make them from color of your choosing as well, as long as the color is available in embroidery floss!  If you have a real horse blanket that you'd like me to duplicate please send me a (Preferably) color picture of what you'd like so I know if it's a design I can do, most I can do but there are a few I can't yet!  Also by being in color I can better match the color(s).  They are cross stitched by hand and then finished off on the back with a thin fabric that's soft on one side so is not to "gall" the horses!

TIME TO MAKE:  It takes me about a day to do a simple solid colored blanket, longer for the more intricate mulri-colored patterned ones.

I also collect Breyer model horses. I have close to 100, most of which are models sentimental reasons as well as models painted to look like our real horses.  I have anything from drafters to Thoroughbreds, most of them are still in their boxes.  I'm also considering starting to collect the Peter Stones as well as some Breyers that I don't have yet.  I might be tempted into trading my saddle blankets for some models, drop me an e-mail and let me know what you have if you're interested!
